La Beauté Lab · Last updated October 4, 2026

We want you to understand what happens to information when you read or interact with La Beauté Lab. This policy covers this blog and the private tool we use to manage its Blogger posts.

When you visit the blog

La Beauté Lab is hosted on Blogger, a Google service. When you load a page, Google may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser and device details, the page you visited, and information used to deliver the site, measure traffic, and protect against abuse. Google may use cookies or similar technologies for these purposes. Learn more in Google's explanation of data from sites using its services and the Google Privacy Policy.

You can read the articles without creating a La Beauté Lab account. Your browser and Google Account settings may give you choices about cookies and Google activity; blocking some cookies can affect features such as commenting.

If you leave a comment

Blogger handles comments. The comment you submit, along with the name or profile you choose to display, may appear publicly on the blog. Blogger may process information needed to submit and manage the comment. Please do not include passwords, health details, or other sensitive information in a public comment. We may review or remove comments to keep discussions relevant and respectful. Google's Blogger comments help explains how to manage a comment you have posted.

Links, products, and other sites

Articles may link to sources, retailers, or other websites. When you follow one of those links, that destination's own privacy practices apply. Some product links may be affiliate links. We identify those links near the recommendation; if you buy after using one, we may earn a commission. An affiliate link does not give us your payment details.

How we use information

We use the information available to us through Blogger to publish articles, review site activity, and manage comments. We do not sell readers' personal information. We do not use a comment to give an individual medical or beauty diagnosis.

The blog owner also uses a private tool called La Beauté Lab Publishing Automation. With the owner's Google permission, it accesses the owner's Blogger account to identify the correct blog, check posts, publish or update articles, and verify results. The tool does not ask blog readers to connect their Google accounts. It stores the owner's Blogger OAuth refresh credential encrypted for the connected Windows user on the local computer; article drafts and publication records are kept in the local project folder until the owner removes them. Google receives the OAuth and Blogger API requests needed for those operations. The tool does not sell or use Google API data for advertising. Its use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Retention and your choices

Public comments remain on Blogger until they are removed under Blogger's controls or applicable settings. Information processed by Google is subject to Google's retention and account controls. The owner may keep local article drafts and publication records while operating the blog, then remove them when they are no longer needed. Revoking the publishing tool's Google access stops future authorized API use but does not delete articles already published on Blogger.

You may choose not to comment, control cookies in your browser, and review your Google Account privacy settings. If you posted a comment through your Google Account, Blogger provides controls to manage it. For a question about this blog or a privacy request, email luckybrenden@gmail.com. Please do not send sensitive health information by email.

Changes

We may update this policy if the blog's features or data practices change. The date above shows when this page was last revised.
